I have E-sys from you, but I've downloaded v.54.1_PsdZData version lite only.
Can you give me some guiding please??

So ok, procedure clear. Question:
Is 54.1_PsdZData_Lite ok or need Full?
And file with new version of flash is where?? Inside the SW package already?

You need PSdZData Full, which has all SWFL flash firmware files.

How long does the flash take? I don't have a charger can I run the engine? Also is the risk of bricking the ecu really high or is this about the same amount of risk involved regular old FDL coding

Shawn, I've lack of space on my old notebook with E-Sys.
Can I copy and use in my case only the folder " C:\Data\psdzdata\mainseries\F025\xxxxxxxxx" from 54.1_PsdZData_Full??

Flash time varies by ECU. Some could be as short as 5 minutes and others like Head Unit could be as long as 45 minutes.

You cannot run the engine, as Flash TAL will put car in Transport Mode.

There is no risk at all of bricking ECU from FDL Coding, so the risk of bricking that comes with flashing is certainly higher, but so long as car and laptop have stable uninterrupted power, and flash instruction is properly followed, it is fairly low.

No. The firmware files ares in ...\psdzdata\swe\swfl so just copying files from ...\psdzdata\mainseries\F025\xxxxxxxxx gets you nothing.

Your flashing an ECU here, which is risky to begin with. You do not want to be using partial psdzdata anyway.

If you are out of space on your local hard drive, you should leave local psdzdata folder empty and put psdzdata folder extracted from PSdZData Full archive on an external drive, and then use Windows MKLINK command to create a Windows Symbolic Link, for example from C:\ESysData\psdzdata to E:\psdzdata.

You can use one of these MKLINK GUI utilities to simply creation of the Symbolic Link:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/symlink-creator/

http://sourceforge.net/projects/windowssymbolic/

No, I think only recovery will come form a successful flash. So, I would try and flash it again.

Was motor running when you originally flashed it?

No. I have seen it before on an F10 Kombi, and it was recoverable once flash took.

I do not know what is wrong with your flash though. I have read of others with this issue using a DHCP sever and getting it to work.

Send me TeamViewer Login, and I can look at it.

Create new flash TAL (don't have to run it, just create it) and see if Kombi is targeted for new SWFL or not. If not, it has latest firmware from your PSdZData.

I would not worry about Flash Log Errors. If you had E-Sys Option to Update MSM, it will give an error. All that matters is that car has no error codes.

It was very exciting time with clocks off.
Thank you once again for your support, very appreciate this. Wish to have some drink together, I'm due to you!
