Taking 35i in for service. A question...

I've got a service appointment tomorrow...

Hey everyone: I spent about 20 minutes looking at previous posts using the search function but can't quite find a answer to my question:

1) I've got a 2011 x3 35i (with Dyn Handling Package - Normal/Sport/Sport+) and I'm taking the car in for its second service. I only drive about 5,000 miles a year so that's why its only the 2nd service visit.
Everything has been great with zero problems - except - for the throttle delay.

Maybe I've just gotten used to it, as it really doesn't bother me anymore, but WHAT update - living in the USA and not having any updates thus far done to the car - should I ask for and ... i.e. what is number or code I should tell my service advisor?

2) SHOULD i bother doing this update? What other functions will it affect?

Thanks in advance...

Tell your dealer you have the throttle delay and ask them to install the latest software for it. It should not affect any other functions, but the software update doesn't really have a very high success rate.

You will need SIB 24-02-12. That is the latest software update for the hesitation issue.
