2016 rear view camera not working

has any one had issues with there rear view camera lately? mine hasn't been working at all for the past 2 weeks and none the less i have an appointment to get it checked out on the 30th. before it completely went dead. it would work and then intermittently not work and would only see the car in the middle of the screen with the back up sensors. i really hope its nothing to complicated!
