My stainless steal poker cups as described above arrived today and fit perfectly. Look identical to those photographed by others and less than £10. Very, very pleased. So well packed took me 10mins to open. Splendid!

Simon covered the box with brown postal tape! A letter opener failed miserably. Needed big scissors, which then got stuck together. Anyway, we digress!

I feel like I'm missing out and even though I don't really want them, for £10 it's got to be one of the cheapest accessories you can buy...

Maybe a silly question, but why do you want a lid? The cups would hold at least 30 £1 coins safely without jumping out, so presume for security? Might be easier to cover the panel with something, as have not seen any cups with lids except for proper drinking cups like you get in camping shops b

yeah for security, don't exactly want the 30 pound coins to be out there in plain sight now would we

Got mine today as well. Looks great, especially since it only set me back $20!

Thanks again Momo!

Ordered a set tonight! I don't care for the BMW inserts as they are lined with rubber and they tend to grab my coffee cup.

On a side note, one of the spring grips in my rig is broken. It's stuck in and no longer held with the spring.

Man, I'd be afraid the sun would bounce of those things and burn a hole through my retina straight out the back of my head!

*Raises sunglasses* Sheesh! Daylight. Oh my eyes! Seriously they do look great an are robust enough to last years. After this thread they might have to be handed down to future generations.

So overall do guys prefer the OEM cupholder inserts or the 3rd party stainless steel ones? I went to my dealership over the weekend and tried to buy the OEM ones and apparently they're back-ordered until early November.

The 3rd party ones seem to be much nicer since it's metal vs plastic put I'm worried that they will look out of place with wood trim, they definitely look nicer than the OEM ones if paired with aluminum trim; So what are everyone's thoughts?

I prefer the bmw ones but they are far too expensive and the poker cups are an excellent alternative

I'm waiting until they make some out of fine china. With pretty flowers on them. Perfect for tea time!
