Handles beautifully!

WOW!! Thanks for sharing pics, and congrats on the new ride

Does the new X3 not have a coin storage/compartment?? I noticed the coins laying around...

Sorry for the delay in responding, I was out joy-riding last night.

Thanks for the nice comments guys; I know some out there don't like the SB and/or Havana & dark trim combinations, so thanks for not shooting me down!

4Sure; yeah, no kidding. There's no coin tray or box for my Tim Horton's change! Bummer. Mind you, as far as I can tell, that's really the worst thing I've found in terms of a "design flaw", so not too bad.

To answer the other question(s) re: specs, basically it's a loaded 28i (Nav, Hi-Fi system, Pan roof etc).....pretty sure I took everything that was (officially) available at time of order (except no friggin' rear heated seats!!).

Also purchased the following accessories:
1. Roof rails for my kayak
2. Trunk liner (the one with the high edges)
3. Cargo net
4. Chrome tailpipes (2 of them)

I think that's it....car is awesome to drive and no regrets on color, engine (already have this engine on my '11 Z4).

Later
Dave

Dave, if I were you, I would just let that car sit in front of the house and look at it all day long. Very elegant yet sporty, not too big - not too small yet specious, technologically advanced…. What more you can ask on a car?.

Question: Does anyone of you who got this car sees a place/hole on or under the bumper that may accommodate trailer hitch for mounting a bikerack on it?

Wow, maybe they forgot about coin compartment?? Just make sure you dont put too much coin out for display or cover it if you do, becuz you don't want anyone breaking in to grab them

Congrats on the new ride, it is absolutely Gorgeous!!!!

Thanks for the tip 4sure; in fact, I have moved my coins to the inside driver's door handle (used to do this with my Lexus, which also didn't have a coin box!). Works ok actually.

And thanks for the comments. As soon as the sun starts shinning again (early on next week I believe), I'll snap a couple of more pics for you guys because it definitely looks more impressive in the sunshine.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe retail was $118 EACH, but got a 20% discount because I was spending over "x" $'s.....so in the end they were $95 EACH and the FLOOR cargo net was $67 after discount.

Clearly import car "pricing"....and surely cheaper over the web somewhere, but decided to pick this stuff up right there & then.

Hope that helps!
Dave

Within the message 'box' you use to type up your posts, there's a paper clip icon just to the right of the white smiley face. Click on that and a new window will open where you can browse to where you've stored your pics on your PC.

Hit the upload button (takes a minute or so to load) and voila!....your pics should appear within your post.

bsilk904, I enquired about this as well with my dealer. I was advised that (for Canada anyway) that they are currently being crash tested by the Canadian government (crash tested may not be the right words, but hopefully you know what I mean)....and as soon as they've completed their testing, it'll be released for retail.

Same thing applied to an add-on table top I wanted to buy for my son to use in the rear seats - currently being tested and should be released to retail by May / June.

Not sure if it's the same reasoning for U.S. customers though.

When I placed my order 12/8 with delivery on 2/7 I tired to have one put on at the PC but they have stopped installing accessories. My CA then said that hitches would not be available in the US until April even though they were in the brochures/info. I guess we shall see. I also wondered about hitches installed by other businesses.
