2015 X3 35i M-Sport Melbourne Red PICS!
I was told my car would come sometime this weekend when my dealer was closed and I would have to pic it up Tuesday. Thirty minutes after that my Client Adviser sent me pics of it pulling into the dealer on a truck. It got there today (Friday) right before they closed! So that means I'm picking it up tomorrow at 1:30p (Saturday). Below are some pics he took of it on the truck. I will for sure post many pics for you after I pic it up tomorrow afternoon. I Promise LOL. Ordered on March 29th. Went into production May 9th. Done with production May 19th. Arrived at dealer today May 23rd two days late. Was supposed to get here on the 21st. There was a delay in getting it on a truck.

Congrats. post up better pics when you get it and make sure to check every inch of the car before you leave the lot to ensure everything is perfect. Looks like you got every package and option! That's the way to get it done.

Nice looking car! Enjoy delivery day and your new vehicle.
Can you confirm for us whether the automatic (foot swipe) tail gate opening feature is present with the M-Sport bumper? I'm really interested in knowing for sure. Either way, I'm going with M-Sport, but still hoping the hands free opening ability is there. Thanks. |

Oh yes! I go over the car with a fine tooth comb and dont hesitate to send it back for a re-detail. I did go all out time versus my 2011 X3. I will have pics later for sure!

Thanks. Firsthand confirmation is always best. I realize it's an entirely different model, but I purchased a 2013 335i sedan with M-Sport which the advisor also told me would not have hands free trunk opening, but it in fact DOES. We'll see soon enough on this 2015 X3. Thanks for checking.

Oh well, thank you for trying as well. I don't doubt that you're doing it right, but I will say that my 335i is quite finicky and it took a rather particular motion before it cooperated. It was funny because my advisor tried it while I was accepting delivery and said, "see, it doesn't have that feature", but when I got home, I was able to make it activate. Either way, enjoy your car!

Yup. He was a nice guy, but brand new last year and still learning the ropes. When I went in last month to begin the process of shopping/negotiating an X3, I was told he was no longer there. That was quick.

Yes, it is very first finicky. It's supposed to be there, according to Web site
