Question Help with Android HeadUnit

So I have a question for maybe someone that has come across the same issue as me, so I order a CIC android system for my 2013 X3 or F25. My factory unit is the basic no Nav, no Bluetooth the Idrive Controller is the one that can be click to left and right not up or down.
Ok so I was told that my system is the CIC with the 4 LSVD pins so I order an android unit for CIC.
Turns out that when I took the factory display out my LSVD connector is the 6 pin the one that usually is for the NBT.

So question here is what do I have?? What should I upgraded with, a android unit for CIC or for NBT?
Thanks in advance. And sorry if is a little confusing

Thanks for the reply, I haven’t checked exactly when was the car manufacturer, but either way my system is CIC I have seen and verified with others. But I still don’t understand why I have the 6 pin connector. Does it mean that I could be upgrades to NBT by BMW without the need for me to buy a different unit?

It would be easier for you to upgrade to NBT directly since NBT set cost about 2, $300 more then Android headunit (depend on what kind Android headunit you buy). If you have HU basic that means your quadlock already have K-CAN2 you don't really need to mess with the wire that much.

How can I do that? Do you know of a website where I can look up for that. Like I said my car is basic but it also has the voice command key on the steering wheel but it obviously don’t work, don’t know why they put that there. Anyways can you sent me the link.

I'm recently doing NBT retrofit from CIC and about 90% complete, here is the site where I found my code: www.codemybimmer.ca
The price is very reasonable

Can’t find the item? There is one that’s for like 1000 but it says for NBT. And I’m still confused as hell because I don’t know what to order an NBT or a CIC system, knowing that I have a 6 pin LSVD cable.
