Pairing Bluetooth phones
I have tmobile and paired my Razr with my 2007 X3 and all was fine. I recently purchased a Razr VT and Krazr phone and when I try to pair them, it states I have an invalid passkey. Has anyone tried this and succeeded ? Will I ever be able to upgrade my phone to something besides what is listed as compatible by BMW?

there was a passkey that came with the documentation to your car. that's the passkey that you need to input into the phone to get it to work. look through the docs and you'll find it.

If you can't find the passkey info in your Owner's Manual packet, look in the LH rear covered compartment for a "black box" that has labels on it. You'll find the passkey code on one of these labels with a "PH" prefix. I removed one of the labels and stuck it inside my owners manual for future reference. Hope this helps.

That is the right spot, but it is marked with a "PK" code. It is a silver looking box with to labels on it that say Continental. Make sure that you have your key in position 1 while programming the phone, too.

You Know were you can look also for a Passkey for bluetooth, in the trunk. Have you ever noticed on both sides of the trunk there are two compartments that open with the little push button. Open the left one and you will discover the bluetooth hardware with the passkey on it. See if that works!--only on BMW X3

Thanks for the tip! the PK in the trunk is actually the correct key. I bought the car as a CPO and apparently they mismatched the paperwork with somebody else as the PK I have in the user guide is incorrect!

Pairing.....
Thanks for the advice....pairing my darned iPhone with the X3 was vexing me....however, your advice worked like a champ....who would have thought to look in the trunk, remove the side compartment door and find a the passcode there.......hmmmm, was not in the owner's manual - which I must say is completely worthless! Thanks again!

Does anyone of you know if it is possible to pair two phones to the car, and that they work both at the same time? I understand that only one phone at the time would be the able to make/recieve a call.
