I love how yours looks. Did you just go with springs? Does it rub? I have slight rub at full turn now. I am a little concerned about lowering.

I do love your wheels too.

Richi has adjustable hydraulic suspension - mine has H&R with staggered 20" 310:s.

I would be reluctant to go as low as Richi shows on picture - he has other pictures with more moderate lowering - like mine

With 22" you will fill up wheelhouses slightly more.

It's not an hydraulic system (oil), it's a pneumatic system (air)

There you see some more details about it: http://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/showth...1027341&page=2

Richi, when you have that low position as per picture - any contact with body when in curve or bumps? Spacers?

Tjalle: No contact at all during regular driving (forward). Just in the back gear driving when I steer more around 80% it touches a bit inside.

22's and black kidney grill

Here is the latest addition. I added the black front kidney grills. I think it gives it a meaner look. Now to decide if I am going to lower or get slightly higher profile tires……..or both. Seems like plenty of room.

I got the grills from bimmian. Came very nicely packaged. price was about $120 US. Pretty easy to fit out. Removed rubber. Took out bolts across the top Pulled plastic back enough to get my hands in. Used a flat head screwdriver to push in clips pulling each one away as it unclpped. I reached the bottom 3 with my fingers. Second was easier as there was a ton of room. New pieces just snapped in
