You should have gone through the forces team at Park Lane in London as I did. You'd have saved more than £3k but there are always big plus points to buying from a local dealer especially if you have any problems with it (I'm sure you won't).

Looking forward to hearing about your experiences with the new motor.
Don't tell him that now !

At least he avoided the terrifying first venture into park lane ... Was yours in the basement .. The spiral coming out was tight !

Can't recommend the forces team enough they are very very good

No you're right I shouldn't have said anything but I'm just jealous he only waited 3 months instead of the 8 that I had to and I know that you waited even longer!

My sales guy didn't take me to the basement, he simply went to get the car and drove it to a side street so I avoided that bit of stress! Imagine doing the spiral in an X5!

Agreed, the sales person was very professional throughout and good at updating.

Looks very nice .. Def needs the xenon lights doesn't look anywhere near as premium without

White over oyster looks good .. When you described it I thought it might be too much .. All too light but it seems to work

Enjoy

I thought that too, and was deeply concerned for a few weeks - relentless going back to the configurator and looking at it again and again reminding myself of it despite it already being in production! But I am pleased with it, and never have been one to follow the norm trend anyway around 170 miles in now already and it's running lovely.

Lovely looking motor! Just got 480 miles out of the first tank of Diesel on ours which seems respectable.

Someone has a Porsche Macan in the background. If you wouldn't mind, pop over and ask him/her how long they had to wait for that.

Enjoy the new traffic car, sorry I meant car, just car.

I filled up earlier as I'm doing a Cardiff Cheltenham return trip over night (treating Mrs Dan5047 to a spa weekend), and my range including current travelled miles is 760!! If I get that, I'll be extremely pleased. 19 miles saved via Eco pro mode too so far

And I wish the Porsche was mine! I drive round the corner of my place to use the turn circle for pics - setting sun always gives good photos just there

yes, and a cigarette lighter. Does that mean you must smoke inside ? I want to keep mine clean. But, of course, everyone can do what he wants. Eat breakfast, brush your teeth or have dinner in it.

You can specify without smokers pack on many cars, not sure about BMW, but you sure cannot have the cup holders removed. Anyway, one is free to drink. It is up to the individual.

What a miserable existence not being able to have a drink in the car.

Eat breakfast..try a bowl of cereals. I do not agree with the bowl of cereals on the move. Definitely a NO NO.

Dan, if you get 760 miles from the tank, I'll sell the X3 and buy a Kia Sorento instead.
