Which Multimedia
I am trying to figure out which multimedia I have. I think that it is CIC but want to be 100% before I buy an aftermarket Android replacement screen.
All of the forums that I have been on say to check which iDrive is installed. Mine has audio in the top left instead of media. Possibly because it does not have other media apart from audio input in the centre console. There is no Satnav either. Anyone steer me in the right direction please? Edit: My X3 is a May 2013. My X3 was registered May 2013 and according to the link it could be NBT. But my thinking is could it come under CIC because manufacture date and registration date are two different things aren't they? |

If you can't determine which version you have from that, I can't help you and this job may be beyond your skill level. |

CIC vs NBT can easily be identified by how the iDrive control selection appears on the display. CIC uses a red box around the selection. NBT uses a red banner around the selection.
CIC - 1st pic below: selection is inside a red box NBT - 2nd pic below: selection is within red banner
