Nice! I was hoping you would say that.... How hard was it to do? I've been thinking about doing the exact same thing but I have no idea how it will hold up.

How easy is it to take off if I wanted?
Did you do it yourself?

Awesome! Tbh, as a beginner, there will be alot of trial and erros, especially when the paint start to drip which you will have to start all over again =.=.

It holds up great in my car it should last around 2-4 years depending on how

you maintain it, definitely saved me alot of scratches and ROCK CHIPS!

because it is rubber, small stones bounces off from it, thus no chips

Yes, i did this all myself i have been dipping cars especially my friends cars for over a year now.

It is easy to peel it off but you will have to make the coat thick when appying

it to make it easy to peel in one piece.

Took me 12 hours, because i have to move stuff in my garage to have space

painting the car. its like 4 Hours spraying the car because you have to wait

20-30 mins every coat. Prepping is Key to this project sucessfull which kinda

takes a little bit more.

Sure, i do this as a Hobby

Your car is sick! I saw it last night on the way out of the meeting at NA. I don't know how I missed it earlier in the night.

It's spectacular. LSB really makes the F25 pop!

I still can't believe how good a job you can do painting the entire car. I've never used plasti-dip, but seen a couple videos and they always make it look so easy.

I have no need to plasti-dip anything, but it might be cool to try out different colors just for fun.

Took the words out of my mouth lol ...

Those wheels look powder-coated so that plasti-dip seems to be also a great job.

Mr Panda u have a lot of ppl interested now, look what u started

How much are we saving if we were to get our cars painted by a body shop vs doing it ourselves or paying someone that does it privately.
How much was the plasti-dip ? I know I remember I paid $500 to get my 18" wheels Powder-Coated Gloss Black 2yr ago from Al Hub's Cap in Long Island when I had my Cadillac STS.

Thanks CM!

I do dipp other people's cars and rims locally in my area.

You save 70-80% over regular paint with labor ~

Looks great Teemo Panda!

Remember when we saw that matte metallic blue BMW E36? Maybe you should add a little Pearlizer and Metallizer to get that more metallic, darker look? I think I would look really good on your X3

Sweet colour, as you know!

I know yours is custom (care to share the mix? ) but if I had to pick a standard blue, the regular blue seems closer to yours than the Blaze blue, no? Any tips?

Someone suggested also to go with a mix of pearl blue (I guess blue and pearlizer) and purple for this:

Yuck...I like the paint job (how clean it came out) but this color just reminds me of those painter tapes. Looks very cheap if you ask me.

there is a reason that certain colors are being offered on some cars model. in this case, this color...wow. seriously...it makes you happy now but let's revisit this in 3-4 years and we'll see u still have the car or this color.
