Just placed my order for a '13 X3 28i
First off, I'd like to thank everyone on this and the other forum. I've learned a lot and it really helped. Here's my config.
Vermillon Red Nevada Mojave Sienna wood Sports Activity (mainly for the seats) Convenience Premium Cold Weather Technology BMW Apps The red was literally a last minute change. We were planning on the space gray and it looked great on the lot, but the dealer had this '11 X3 red prominently raised on this track. It just stood out compared to all of the black and silver cars on the lot. We used to own a metallic redwood Volvo 240 so it brought back some fond memories. The buying process was the best I've ever experienced. We test drove the X3 at the closest dealership and gave them the first chance to meet my price. When they didn't, I emailed five other dealerships within 25 miles and gave them my specs and target price. I never expected any of them to meet my price so I also asked for their best offer. Two never replied, one was $200 over, and two met my price. The toughest part was deciding one over the other. I hate haggling and I think that I got a fair price and I'm sure the dealer made some money. I think that that's a win-win. And the whole buying process took about a half an hour. Now the wait. Thanks again, everyone. |

Congrats Vermillon Red, Nevada Mojave and Sienna wood would definitely be a unique color combination that will stand out among the black silver and whites
