Phonebook not displaying Mobile or Home phone after IOS13 upgrade

I've already upgraded my IPhone 7+ to IOS13 and most recently the newer IOS 13 upgrade. In IOS12 my phonebook would display home or mobile when an entry had multiple phones. Now the entry just has 2 phones and I can't tell which is home or mobile. I haven't done anything different on my 2012 X3 so it seems reasonable this is being caused by the IOS13 upgrade. Have other people experienced this also? I suppose I could go back to IOS12 as someone has suggested.

The only solution is to get an Android phone

Hmmm, I upgraded to to IOS13 on my 7+ and everything seems to be working

That's strange. I wonder if it's some setting on my phone that got switched. I'll look later.

Try a hard rest on the phone, hold lock and volume down button for ~30 seconds. Sometimes they just need a quick break after an update.

give permission to ''access contacts'' if not, you'll be only able to do/receive calls.

delete phone from idrive
delete car from phone

connect new device, see if that helps

Not that this is your issue, but the latest iPhone software upgrade has been a nightmare. For work email they come in totally out of order and may be below emails three days old, forwarded email excludes the original text, you cannot forward attachments, and a few other things. A fix is supposedly in the works, so it does not surprise me they screwed up its car applications as well.

Whenever I get in my car, all my contacts/telephone numbers get transferred ok. But I don't see whether the phone is mobile or home in my car but it is listed in my phone.

That's a good suggestion too. But as one person just said, the latest upgrade has some issues. Maybe I'll just go back to IOS 12 if I can.
