Want to install non edc own shocks onto EDC car

I have a 14 x3 35i 5UXWX7C58E0E77998 and want to install non edc shocks will that be easily done or do i need some sort of adapter at the top hat.

All you have to do is install the regular shocks and remove option 223A from SALAPA and VO code using Esys or if you can find an adapter that can emulate EDC shocks, that will work too.

I have the KW "edc cancel kit"


I dont recommend it. If I go do it all over again, Id code it out or pay someone to code it out

to clarify

the hardware all bolts up just fine

but you'd leave behind a bunch of EDC plugs, which will throw errors

(these errors can be cancelled out via KW's cancel kit or via coding)

Curious why you’d rather have gone the coding out approach.
Has the cancel kit caused issues?
