Tire question
I've been reading on the F10 forums and seems like owners with Goodyears are having issues with their RFT's. When I say issues I mean bulging, sounds like it's a common problem for the Goodyears. With respect to this I was wondering if F25 owners can give me feedback on their tires. How do they perform? Tread wear? Premature replacement?
I've got an M-sport coming with the 19's and I assume they will be Goodyears (which I'm not very fond of). |

The tires on delivery vary a lot, so hard to tell. I had Conti SSRs on the staggered 19 in 309s. Not a fan. Less than on girp, wear, and noise. For all that they should have been All Season vice Summers, but weren't. Pirelli fan here.

Just swapped out my Winter tires, put back on the staggered 309s, and ditched the worn out Conti SSRs for Pirelli PZeros. So far, the difference seems dramatic. 700 miles on them so far and they're quieter than the Contis were. Of course, the Contis were worn out when I last drove them but I don't recall them ever being as quiet as the PZeros -- an imperfect comparison, of course. The rolling resistance seems much lower and gas mileage is actually a couple better on the same commute -- which seems extreme, but that's what I'm seeing. Cornering traction and feel is out of the park better. General ride also seems much nicer. Vibration feel I had particularly on one part of the freeway since I first got the car is gone. Will see if the noise and vibration comes back, but so far I'm wondering how much was those tires!
