Hi guys,

I bought a 2023 bmw ix3 m sport pro last week and just noticed that the paint is fading off the same part of all wheels (see attached pictures).

Has anyone else seen this before with your wheels? The car hasn't been washed since I got it from the dealer so I collected the car like this.

I wonder if the wheels were like this new? If not, what caused it and will it get worse after car washes? Strange that it's only this part of the wheels and it's not happening directly at the front of the wheels, but maybe it will spread to the front in time after a few cars washes. All 4 wheels have this issue in the same areas to a different extent.

Anyone seen this issue before with the same wheels or know what caused it/if it will spread to the front after more car washes? Also, does anyone know if this is an easy enough fix? If so I might ask the dealer to take a look since I only noticed it when I drove the car home.

Looks like they’ve been cleaned with something that has damaged the finish.

I think those parts are removable and changeable so should be an easy fix
