Door latch question

I've had an interior light issue where the interior lights stay on even when driving. I did a scan and get:

800ECF: Door contact BFT line break short circuit to Ub

I doubt its a wiring issue so can I safely assume its the switch?
I'm trying to verify that the switch for lighting control is built into the door lock actuator itself. Does anyone know and/or had a similar experience?

Thanks in advance.
