Will they fit

I currently have an X1 and a set of winter wheels/tyres with it. My new X3 is due sometime this winter ... so the question is .. will the 17 inch X1 wheels fit the x3

They are style 318 7.5 17 with ET 35

I appreciate that the tyres are the wrong profile buy if I can just put different size tyres on the X1 rims it would save me a lot of expense

So anyone got any ideas as to whether they will fit ?

No, they are too small.

????

I don't see why they wouldn't - the std fit 17s are the Style 304 which is the same size apart from a 2mm offset difference.

Just keep them when they X1 goes back and try it, my guess is that they'll be a straight fit - use the X3 wheel bolts though.

Depends on the tire size, rims will probably fit.

I think you are probably right .. When I get it I'll see if they fit and take it from there !

Rims look fine, the tires might be a problem. What size is mounted?

The tyres are the wrong size I know .. To fit the x3 I'd have to upsize to 60 profile ... But it is much cheaper buying four tyres than a new wheel set !

But they are 17's and the x3 will take 17's ... So time will tell

You originally asked whether the wheels will fit and that is why I said no. Had you said rims, yes, the X3 can do the 17" rims but they are gong to look REALLY small with the X3's giant wheel well.

I've been looking for a second-hand set for our new F25 and it appears to be bit of a minefield with the smaller wheels.

As others have said, as long as the offsets are in the correct range, your 17" wheels should fit but there have been reports that the design of smaller wheels is important as, in some, the inner barrel diameter is too small to fit over the brake calipers.
