BMW X3 with BB IT policy
Does anyone knows what is the perfect settings for BB IT policy to have my BB 9900 works fine with my X3.
Once I enable BES, I no longer can read SMS, emails, nor I have contact photos appearing on the nav screen any more. Even worst, it get disconnected all by itself after 10 to 15 min, and in many times it reboots! I want to go and set with our IT Admin but I need to know what to ask! Thanks. |

You just tell them what is happening when you try to connect to your car. They should know what policy may be the problem.

Hi, yes, you need them to change the bluetooth security options to allow the address book and other things to be passed across to the car. Simply having bluetooth enabled isn't always enough, they are listed under the Bluetooth section of the BB policy.
If you need anything more specific, drop me a private message and ill pull the exact stuff out of our policy for you. |

@ .e90, I don't think they are that much expert. I need to be more specific with them.
@ MattUK, I remember I saw a PDF on the Internet explaining the IT policy with many section, I noticed a section about BT. just wasn't sure if this is the only section I need to look at or others as well. Thanks for the tip. I'll give it a try and update you. Thanks. |
