1000 mls up on my 2.0d and very pleased
Spec, 2.0d Auto, Space Grey, Nevada lthr, Brushed Aluminium, Sports seats,
Electric towbar. Standard suspension 17 inch wheels non run flat tyres. Was a little apprehensive changing from e60 525d to X3 but no regrets so far. Love the Auto gearbox ,it seems to be programmed for cruising and economy. I have also experimented with m/s and brisk performance can be experienced when using say 5th ,6th, and 7th gear on twisty country roads.Overall I have recorded 40.2 mpg since new with mixed driving conditions and driven conservatively. I am not expecting much more. Love the sports seats and well worth the money imo. Forgot to order interior package of nets pockets and rere cupholders. Missing those. Rere seat not as comfortable as in e60 but ok. It is shorter and lower than e60. Apprehensive about having no spare wheel ,only compressor and sealant!!! Overall I am very pleased with the car and find it nicer and easier to drive than e60, just missing the 6 cyl power and noise a little |

X3 driving position , view out, lighter steering,(than 525d) gives it a "tidier " feel.
One further point I ommitted in original report is that over 80mph the X3 is not as refined or as quiet as e60 but fine up to 80 ish |
