Welcome Kit
When should I expect a Welcome Kit/Survey from BMWNA? It's been 6 weeks since I bought my car. I figured something should have come by now. Not a big deal, just wondering.

I purchased three weeks ago, for reference. I got my survey request via email, though I think this is dependent on your sales person. As far as a welcome kit, all I've received in the mail is a "Quick Start Guide", which I think is already included in the Owner's Manuals in the glove box. Curious what else is supposed to be lurking.

Don't recall how long it took (got my X last spring) but the welcome kit was the leather and chrome BMW jump drive, with files on it. The survey came separately, not too long after the vehicle.

Got the 2gb flash drive about 4 mths after purchase. Other than the fact its only 2gb, its a cool looking flash drive.

The quick start guide is part of a welcome kit announcement pack I got. The accompanying letter told me to keep a look out for the welcome kit.
It also includes a voucher code to participate in the BMW performance Driving school supposedly for free + travel/lodging expenses... I'll call them up soon and find out whether it's actually "free" and what it entails. Last edited by renderfarmer; 01-24-2012 at 09:38 AM.. |

I received the quick start guide and offer for the BMW experience. I called to find out what it is:
Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays from 12:30-5:30 (meaning, no free lunch like you get with PCD or a driving school). You get to do an offroad course, and drive 6 different BMWs three laps on the course. You also get a factory tour. I think this is what they sell for $99 (signs in the Greenville airport for it). My letter also said I'd get a Welcome Kit--I hope it comes!
