Profiles like others have found are a bit goofy sometimes, our new X3 likes to not change to my wifes profile some days - usually only at home, so thinking that my key is just too close even though it was never an issue with our X5.

I thought I would turn on the option mentioned in the owners manual and the manual in idrive to default to the profile choice page on startup, but my 2014 doesn't have the checkbox under profiles in options like the manual describes.

Can anyone else check and see if they have that setting - seems it may be gone for 2014, may look at the coding options and see if it can be turned back on.
