Pimped X3?

I was wondering if owners of X3's pimp their rides?

What is the German equivelent of 'ricing' an X3?

If you search on google with "X3 F25 tuning" you find an interesting set of results ;-)

Modifications on BMW's is fairly common. The 3 series forum has a LOT Of cars modified in various ways...

I have plans for my X3... not to make it "pimp", just to make it different from every other X3 out there. I've posted pics here and will be using it as an update thread for every mod that I do on the car. I plan to have it lowered, rims and a few other things.
I'll be modifying mine to the similar style of my last BMW:

There are quite of few others running different rims already. You'll see the thread here

Nice ride. Must be an optical illusion but looks like the front brakes are smaller than the rear.

There is a world of difference between "pimping" your car to make it "ricey" and delicately enhancing its appearance or using tuners' packages to enhance the look and abilities of your BMW. Let's keep our F25s away from being called "ricey" ever!

What no carbon fibre wings bolted to the roof?

I'm can't decide between white and carbon black when I order my M-sport. I'm leaning towards white but the white looks very stark and I was thinking a 'tasteful' m-logo or strip might look good.

I donno if this would be too much 'at my age'.

Don't forget a giant rear wing which actually make the car aerodynamically worse, illegal window tint, a giant fart can exhaust and a massive subwoofer!

Carbon Black would be a special order in Canada if it is available. Other regions have them but not in Canada

Maybe that will help you out with your decision lol. I would of gotten Mineral White if it was available on the X3

Thanks fiddy. I plan on doing a special order anyway and the BMW configurator permits the selection of carbon black.

LOL! I don't get it... who actually thinks that crap is "cool" anymore?? Personally, I laugh my @$$ off and yell "FART CAN!!!" out the window whenever I see one of those go by. They are rediculous and sound like $hit.

I have an idea to make a run on magnetic placards to place on any offending ricer I see in a parking lot:

One for the upper rear QP with an arrow pointing up-
"Whale Tail: Asinine on a FWD car!"

One for the bumper, just over the exhaust with arrow pointing down-
"Look... I have a FART CAN!"

And one giant one for the center-back trunk to cover whatever logo-
"S-T-O-O-P-I-D"

Up to you... but in my books that falls under Honda Civic "street edition" or Cavalier Z22. I think the Msport kit with the subtle //M badges are good enough. But that's just my opinion. Its your X, be proud of what you do and what you got.

I plan on lowering it and doing a bunch of stuff that people will not like... no big deal for me... haters will always be haters, and I'll do whatever I want.
