I'm finally going to join the world and get a smartphone. All along i thought I would ge an Iphone but the S4 is kind of appealing too. I have a 2012 X3 with the tech package and BMW apps. Does that only work with the iPhone5s? What are the advantages/disadvantages of getting the iPhone5S vs the Galaxy S4? Thanks.

Without getting into advantages and disadvantages of each (I do own both), I will say that your BMW Apps will only work with your iPhone since I don't believe Android was supported until the MY2013 models? I use my iPhone 5 with my 2012 X3.

yeah they just came out with android support in July '13 built vehicles. I'm majorly bleeding edge and even got the S4 cradle for my '14 x3. So, if you have a new enough vehicle, you can do everything an iphone can do with a galaxy s4.

I was hoping that the iPhone5s cradle would be out by now but doesn't look like it...at least not a fully functioning one. I like the idea of storing the phone in the cradle and not having to mess with cables. my build date is 2/12 so i guess it's going to be the Iphone5s. I would think that the cradle should be out soon...it's been delayed for so long now. thanks.
