Blank inner housing on my 2012 X3
I took delivery of my X3 and noticed a couple of days later that the inner housing on my headlights is blank (where usually a halogen high beam would be)? I have the xenon lights option so the bi-xenon handle the low and high beam. However, closer inspection of the inner house showed there are no bulb or anything behind it? Any one noticed this?

With the HID headlights, it's normal. In another thread, someone did a detailed visual inspection and noted that there was a socket, but nothing plugged into it. Halo lights are there, however.

See
Faux Inner Headlights for details. The inner "headlights" on HID equipped X3's are strictly styling components. Shine a flashlight in them and you will see several electronics connector blocks. |
