2012 X3 vs 2015 X3??

Does anyone else feel that the new 4 cylinder engine in the 2015 X3 2.8 feels underpowered when compared to the inline 6 in the 2012 X3 2.8? I don't want to turn in my car! Help. Thanks.

It has more power but the way the power is put down is a lot different due to the turbos. If you test drive both cars, the power in the 6 cylinder is more linear than the 4 cylinder which is more of a curve due to the turbo's having to spool up.

N20 more throw back on seat, however no sweet exhaust note on the N20 its quiet very un-BMW like unless you get after market exhaust.

:/ I think all bimmers should get the M sport exhaust if it had the M Package.. Then simply install an aftermarket exhaust or just pay extra for the 35i

Bmw is cheap, but this would make sense.

there is more than enough power for city and highway crossings and overtaking. The only time I have felt the lack of power is going up a steep hill or slope with 4 adults and luggage, the N20 feels like it struggles to keep up.
