Bmw n20 4-cyl 2017 recall

Hi All,

I hope all is going well on your end.

I got a letter from BMW Canada and text messages from BMW dealerships regarding a recall on my 2017 x3 for programming. It's to correct emissions so the fuel trim levels do not run rich in the long-term.

Here is the VIN#: 5UXWX9C30H0W66544

I was wondering if anyone in Canada went ahead and got this recall service completed?

I don't want to do it but if the fuel trim levels will run rich over time... I do want to get it done... of course I'm going to BMW Toronto dealership right off the DVP because they are the best out of the other BMW dealerships. IMO.

I got the recall ECR-B0001-21-002 done in December 2021.
It caused a little turbo lag.

confirmed. ECR-B0001-21-002 RECALL #, not going through with this recall. I got the letter from BMW Canada last year.

If we choose not to perform this recall, it will not cause ANY issues.
So I'm not doing it to my 17' X3 [N20].

Some have reported they lost all the coding they done prior to the recall programming.
