Hello, does anyone know if a steering wheel from an F30 will swap over and fit into my LCI 2015 X3 msport? A friend is offering me a cool carbon fiber steering wheel from his F30 but i don't know if the all his buttons and switches and paddle shifters will work on our X3s and if the wiring connectors are compatible? i've seen a couple of F30 steering wheel swaps but they are the newer style with the very slender arms and the round airbag. The wheel i'm interested in is the older style with the airbag similar to ours but more pointy at the switches where the stock X3 msport wheel is more rounded and curved. Sorry, I hope this makes sense. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

If you want to install the F30 steering wheel , yes it's possible but you will need to get his airbag as well as our F25 airbag is totally different from the F30 ones , as they got 4 contact points compared to ours only 3 contact points to the steering.

yes, its working. retrofited mine from F30
