The xdrive35i comes with the tips standard.

That is downright beautiful and has just confirmed the color choice for my interior.

with all the pics on the Internet, these seem like the most 'real world' and accurate pics.

Thanks for posting, great job with the photos....your X3 looks killer, very nice combo. It sounds like you went through something similar with color swatches that I am, kinda surprising these dealers cant have some accurate swatch to show people dropping over 40K. I was wondering how the darker Wave would like with the Chestnut and it seems to go rather nicely.

So in the end with "Chestnut" having more Red then Brown in it and spending some time in and around the vehicle, please let me know your thoughts. I am still on the fence but strongly leaning toward Chestnut.

Hi Fantastic photos. Any reason you chose Jet black versus the Black sapphire metallic? Does it look that much different in the flesh?

This would be my 3rd jet black, '00 323i, '07 X3 3.0i and '11 X3 35i. I don't like Mettalic colors.

Hi, I noticed you didn't order Damper control. How is the ride comfort level compared to your old X3 and does it absorb the bumps and rough patches well in your view without the damper control?

Yes it does absorb bumps, etc. better than the old X3. The steering feel is too light. I liked the '07 X3 better.

Suspect that it depends on the dealer and the configuration you want. If they have one that's already allocated that they can sell you, they may not require a deposit. I ordered the exact option combination I wanted in mid-December. The dealer required a $2500 deposit, and I received a confirmed production number the same day. Still waiting for delivery with production completion listed as today (2/02).
