3.0d UK buyers/owners discussion zone

Welcome 3.0d UK buyers/owners!

Question 1. relates to UK tyres. For comfort, traction, mpg and replacement cost I decided not to get runflats, and many comments on here seem to suggest that may have been wise, despite advances in 3rd gen runflats. I went for the 2EB 17" y-spoke style 305. Any idea what brand of tyres will come with them?*

On my current car I have found replacement Pirelli's much much better and grippier (and yes softer & wearing faster) than the Continentals it came with. *The P's transformed the car-for example the rear at a given speed on a given tight corner sticks like a limpet at identical temps & conditions where as in the past I had to lift with the Conti ones. So on X3?

Why only UK?

As an Australian, we get basically the same cars (in my case 30d M-Sport) - RHD, similar options etc, and of course we speak a similar language

Nothing personal. Simply to ease comparisons, as there appear to be option differences that complicate this. Re the first question on tyres - so what did you guys get?
