My X3 35i window sticker says it has front door mounted air bags. I can't figure out where on the door these air bags deploy from. I thought that they were supposed to be marked with "AIRBAG" to show the location. Like all the other airbags are marked. Anyone have any idea on where the side air bag deploys from?? The side of the seat is not marked like every other vehicle that I have seen that has them mounted to the seat.

PS why does the 28i not show on the website that it even has side air bags??

I just noticed this yesterday when I was cleaning the seats. There is a little tag 'Airbag" on the side of the front seat back, toward the seat bottom and towards the front. (Driver side). Almost looks like a 'designer label".

Thanks! I just spent a bit of time looking at my door when I noticed this little tag! I wonder why the sticker states door mounted???
