Can't get this app to work from Android 5 Lollipop - others from BMW work in my 2015 X3 as does the Analyzer iOS app from an iPhone. Suspect a permission problem in Android but wondered if anyone was else was having problems? BMW refuse to acknowledge a fault

EcoPro Analyser provides graphical indication of how economically you're driving and gamification - you can complete with other BMW profiles (spouse) to see who uses least fuel ! Great app when it works

Same here, 5.02 Lollipop but just can’t activate it. Other parts such as fuel level, mileage, range shows OK. Not sure if it’s me or the App but searching Google it seems Analyser has been causing problems for quite a while so probably not related to the new Android updates. Am about to write it off as a gimmick and not waste more time.

Ok thanks Rich - exactly the same issue for me. It did work on my previous 2014 X3 about a year ago but now seems broken from my Galaxy S4. I'll raise again with BMW to see if a fix is being worked on

Same here. When I saw the posts this morning I connected up my Galaxy S5 (updated Lollipop) using USB connection and the phone says it is connected, but goes no further. I then drove to Oxford BMW for minor work and left it there. When the phone was disconnected it shows the rest of the information correctly giving last connection time and the correct mileage and fuel left.

By the way, the Last Mile app works perfectly. Perhaps slightly better than I expected, because I disconnected phone and put it into my pocket and the service guy then drove it down the road (400 yards) and into the rear of the garage where it is still sitting. It even shows the last 400 yards and the fact that it is still in the rear of the garage. I am 7 miles away at home.

There is a manual available for download of’ BMW Connected Supplementary Owner’s Handbook’ which comprehensively covers detailed instructions and usage for this App. However, even following that I have been unable to get Analyser to function. Interestingly enough, the manual is dated 2013 and before Android’ s splurge of updates starting last year from version 4.4.1, so it’s quite possible that the App itself needs updating by BMW to cope with the newer Android versions. http://www.bmw.com/com/en/owners/bmw...ted-manual.pdf

That is what I am answering here. Nothing more and nothing less.

In my car everything else in the App itself works perfectly on my Galaxy S5 using the latest version of Lollipop connected to the USB port. It is only the ECO PRO Analyzer part that is NOT working. I stated this in a previous thread.

Got exactly same issue using Galaxy S4 i-9505 on android 5.0.1 and 2015 F30 BMW (hu-nbt).
Connected drive app works, eco anylizer just doesn't
