Mileage out of Sports Package Tires
I read on this forum that some members were getting only 13,500 miles on the sports package equipped tires. Is this common? Any other members care to comment on their numbers. I have a sports package 335d, and while I\'m used to relatively low mileage, 25,000, out of the tires, 13,500 seems extremely low. The X3 we are purchasing for my wife, and the thought of replacing the tires after only 1 year or less is not very appealing. Thanks for any input.

I am the 13,500 miles guy. I have a 2011 X3 35i Sport Package with the 19" upgraded wheels. Those are 245/45-45 in the front and 275/45-40 and the tires were Continental ContiSport 3 SSR.

Had my contis on for about 15k miles. The rears still had some miles in them, but the fronts were done. Over done. Tread was still available, but they were heavily worn on the inside and cupped on the outside.

Same experience. I could of gotten more than 13.5k miles out of it but it is our wet season and the treads were worrying me. The rears had some life left but the front inside was worn badly. |

Widening this thread beyond just those X3s with the sports packages - what tyre (tire)mileage are people getting with just standard X3s? There must be a few poeple now with some substantial mileage on their F25 X3s.
