Factory Privacy Glass (Tint)
Does anyone know what percentage tint is used? I'm looking to match the driver and passenger doors with the same level of tint.

This is not legal in every country, so check this first ! The reason is that drivers should be able to have eyecontact with eachother, if needed in certain traffic situations.

In South Africa for example, the darkest legally allowed tint is 35%, even though some BMW "factory" tints go as low as 20% in the back. It all comes down to personal preference, to me 35% is a good all-round level, 50% makes very little difference and anything darker makes one look like a gangster |
