Spending 3800$ on Double Spoke 310 Wheels? Good or Bad?
Ordered 35i M-Sport. i should get it by end of this month.. thinking of changing the wheel.. so we don't all look the same on the street lol.. Trading my wheel(309 or 369) for 310 Double Spoke 20" with 245/40/20 in the front and 275/35/20 rear.. is it worth it?

Only you can make that decision. For me, not worth it.

Yes!! Get them. They make such a difference to the look of the car. Be vain! The m sport wheel arch trims make the wheels look small. The 20"ers will look the part and staggered gives a more aggressive stance. Do it

Theepz: I ordered this exact setup. I think it will make your X3 distinct. My dealer gave me 20% off for a little over $4,400. Did you get a quote for the wheels and tires for $3,800? If so I'm going back to my dealer to see if they'll match.

My dealer agreed to $4,400 and I keep the 369's. They also agreed to swap out the all-season Goodyear 245/45 19 Eagle LS2's that came mounted on the 369's for a set of Pirelli Sottozero Serie II winter tires for no extra charge. |

I guess you could but you'd have wheels an inch wider on the front than on the back.
You shouldn't need to rotate the wheels anyway. I'm thought it was not recommended by BMW (not that that's a good reason not to rotate them!)

BMW Tire Rotation
Because of the negative camber on the rear of BMW's the tires will wear on the inside and be shot while they still have serviceable tread on the rest of the tire. Front's are just the opposite and wear on the outside.
If you don't get staggered tires you can move front to back and get more life out of your tires. |

I was considering spending $1600-$2000 on a winter wheel set, but if I can get this setup for $2500-$3000 more I will totally do it for those wheels. |

Worth it? For me, doesn't work. It doesn't add a functionality that's important to me and the cost is high enough it's beyond what I can do just for fun.
If it's within your "for fun" budget, go for it! I think they look great.
