Ordered a Deep Sea Blue 28i

I reached a deal and placed the order!

2012 28i
Deep Sea Blue
Mojave
Fineline wave wood trim
Cold Weather Pkg
Premium Sound
Sport Activity Package
Technology Package
Premium Package

I am going to do PCD with this car. That ought to be fun!

I got a decent deal for this area, and highly recommend Keeler in Albany NY.

I chose the 28i over the 35, as it was about 6k less similarly equipped. I dont know if that turbo is worth 6 grand..I guess it is, if you can afford it! LOL

I am coming from an 05 3.0i, so the 28i is still an improvement in performance. I am looking forward to the nicer interior and modern features of the 2012, but I will miss the 05, as I have had it for 6 years and put 195k on it. It has been super reliable, too..

Well, I do, and it is. End of story.

sounds very nice! I want to see what the DSB+Mojave looks like w/ the Fine Wave Wood trim. my 35i has alum brush trim- i thought both looked good when I was deciding. you are going to love the Blue and the Mojave as much as I do.

so $6k is what i spent on the turbo? I didn't think it was quite that much in difference - not sure though, somehow i started at a 28i without SAP, DHP or premium audio, and then ended up w/ a 35i w/ all of the above...only after ruling out the Audi Q5.

I think you can't go wrong either way 28i or 35i - we all have to make $ decisions that fit our needs. Besides, anyone who trades an E83 in for an F25 X3 gets legacy points
That being said, I'm happy w/ my choice for the 35i.
