Auto Starter? X3
I apologize if this topic has been discussed already. I did a search but couldnt find anything.
Just wondering if anyone has purchased an auto starter.... ? Is this even possible? I wished this was a factory option...bloody winters can be nippy here in Canada... |

You can technically... but it will cost a arm and a leg. Think about all the electronics to bypass.

Agreed. But i was hoping there was a software upgrade. I.e apparently there is an iphone app where u are able to set climate, lock/unlock doors etc remotely.. Wish there was an option to start engine remotely via iphone app. ?

I think this has been discussed a few many times here. As far as I understand, BMW does not let you auto start on any of their models. This is on purpose (probably environment conscious - not wasting fuel). Some have managed to install 3rd party remote starters, but BMW electronics does not make it easy to do those installs.
