How on earth is this related to the current thread on iPhones?

Use the search, post a new thread, and please don't hijack other threads...

In the UK, If you get the Pro Nav do you also get the top view camera?

In the US, it's bundled in the tech pkg.

To me the top view feature tips the scales in favor of the additional expense. No more damaged rims.

I agree with the others: why not delete the VDC and go with the sports suspension (relatively low cost) , the pro Nav , Apps, 18 " rims+ run flats and the xenons.

No matter what, whichever way you go it's more about the drive than all the tech.

Well i've upgraded to MSport Auto and added the following:

Prof Media
18in run flats (standard in M-Sport now i've upgraded)
Xenons

and i paid the extra for the VDC.

As such, i have gone the most Un-economical way of getting the Apple IPhone with Music.

Interestingly, i took out an M-Sport at the weekend with Prof Nav only and the music worked through the built-in bluetooth. It's not necessary therefore to have 6NF or 6NR, though i appreciate they certainly help the general aesthetic.

Sounds great and don't you love how this forum makes us spend way more than we originally intended!
I guess in a few years all the Used X3s will be very well equipped.

The snap in adapter isn't really needed for music or bmw apps.

I don't understand why they don't make a cradle on the dash. That way, you won't forget your phone. And you can run Waze, Rdio and many other cool apps. One day, I have to put a cradle on the dash myself.

That would look ugly IMO, dont have a problem with the phone in a cradle in the armrest. If you forget it, its out of view.
