Shawn, 2 questions.

1. Following your guide on update 6NH to 6NS which requires changing FA. Step 9 when click on VCM Master Tab, Write FA FP, then I suppose to click on "Read FA FP VIN", but there is only "Read FA FP" button in the E-Sys 3.24.3 and there is also a "Read VIN" beside SVT Actual. Should I click on both buttons one after another?

2. After FA is written I am lost about the VO Code Head Unit and Standalone Combox?
I assume Read FA(OV) meaning under coding and then Read FA, Activate FA, then read SVT? and then Code under ECU?

May I get you to explain a little more on this step? Thanks.

Never mind, went over your note again and I got it figured out.

VO as Vehicle Order.
Read FA, Active FA, Read SVT (so the list of available SVT shows), right click on HU ECU(HU_NBT in my case) and then Code. This takes about 30 seconds to process and it will reset my iDrive automatically.

Now I have "Office" showing up in iDrive and i can view Current Office/Email/Message/Notes.
6NH to 6NS successfully coded thanks to Shawn and April.

Now time for more advance options, wahahaha....

Just for fun and I updated the HUD to show incoming phone/name and able to scroll through the contact. But I couldn't remember if incoming call was already showing before I made the change....

I replaced the Idrive button with the touch one.
I also added the language module and coded the NTB

All goes fine except that when dealer has to update, we need to uninstall and put old Itouch button, then after update reinstall Idrivetouch

Any idea what to add as option ?

Thee is no option code for Touch Controller. Just VO Code NBT, ZBE, and TBX if you installed Handwriting Module too, with 0713 date.

I coded ZBE
ZBE_TOUCH
ZBE_TOUCH_BROWSER
ZBE_TOUCH_INTERACTIVE_MAP
ZBE_TOUCH_SPELLER

but not TBX. What is this ?

I explained in my post that TBX was the Handwriting Module.

Question for Shawn again.

My HU_NBT has 3 language options, English, French and Spanish

Trying to change Language 3 from Spanish to ChineseTrad from HU_NBT->3000MHI->Funktionen->Language_3

Save the setting, use left green arrow to go back to Coding Page and then click on Code FDL.

iDrive was reset, but I still cant get language changed. Is there a step i missed?

I think you need to add S866A Language version, Chinese simplified to FA, and then VO Code NBT.
