Option 563 lights package for 2014 x3

Is the ambient lighting functionality limited for the 2014 x3? I've seen videos/posts where people are able to adjust the brightness and colors of their interior colors. I'm wondering what exactly the package entails for this particular model and year.

My 2015 LCI X3, has the choice of Classic (Amber) or Modern (White). You can control the brightness. It controls the interior lights on the door handles, center console storage area (under radio/AC) and foot wells. Foot wells start White on opening doors, then changes to the set color when car is running.

Is that a new feature in 2015? I dont have the option to control any of the lighting settings for mine.

To be honest, I am not sure if an option or standard on LCI models, as I picked the car up 2nd hand.

Got it on my 2017 X3, I believe it is standard fit and not an option, I remember reading in one of the brochures that the LC1 X3 came with two colour ambient lighting
