Help with the part Number please

Hi all, hope someone who is mechanically inclined can help me with this small part identification.
After the recent oil change, I've noticed a slight vibration like sound in what seamed to be left wheel well. Naturally I opened the hood and shined the light, and found a part, of what I think is a hood stop. the little O ring bracket that holds it in place must have snapped when they slammed the hood on it. bottom line, its missing. I have no illusion that BMW only sells those in pairs, so although I have the actual stop, I will need to buy a new one with the bracket.
What I cant find is a part number. I will try and attach a pic from google with circled in red the actual part im talking about. Note: there is a chance that its not a hood stop, but I really cant think of any other function it would serve.
Thank you all in advance!
Roman
