2011 X3 35i runs rough cold

Runs rough and dies until warmed up, one MIL P112F which has been there for 6 years but now is permanent.

1. 108001 "Intake air temperature sensor, electrical: short circuit to B+"
2. 10VA43 "Intake-air temperature sensor, cold start: intake-air temperature too low"
3. 1D2008 "Characteristic map thermostat, mechanical: jammed open"

Any ideas what this means?
MAP sensor?

Rough running cold

If you haven't done so yet, replace the high pressure fuel pump especially if you have to crank it over more than 2 seconds. I changed mine at 140k. And do the same with the water pump and thermostat. They fail over 100k and a whole string of faults/problems arise such as the cooling fan engaging and running hard (stop car, turn off engine - fan resets). I got my parts from FCP Euro with lifetime replacement. Pay someone to install these because it's a pain in the ass to diy.

Thank you for the reply. The car has 190k km and runs OK once warmed up. I have not done the high pressure pump yet as it is very expensive and with the cheap Chinese pumps you are asking for problems if not immediately then a few months down the road. This also goes for throttle body ... not cheap. Hate to just throw parts at it and possibly create new issues.

Verify your MAF connector. It may be loose or disconnected.
It is the first sensor after air box

Wondering if the rough idle and P112F issue have been resolved? I am experiencing the same and looking for help!
Thanks!

Usually P112F is related to vacuum leak. Please check for leaks. If you are not finding any go for smoke test in the admission
