What is this part?

After turning off the ignition, if the engine hood is up, I can hear some plasticky clicking/rattling noises for a few seconds. They seem to be coming from that thing circled in red. Anyone knows what that is?

I have a 2 liter Diesel, N47D20C

I do not recognize that part because it may be unique to a diesel. Most people on here have gas engines. What you might try is to go to RealOEM.com and type in the last 7 places of your VIN and then look at the diagrams until you find it. Then you can google the name and see if others have had the same issue.

I found it. It's part of the power steering rack. Presumably the electric pump. Not sold separately.
