Trunk bicycle carrier for 2013 x3

Anyone knows which rear (trunk) rack will fit the 2013 X3. I knew Thule specify no fit on any of their carrier... Saris (bone) and Yakima (quick back ) apparently has a fit but will require the hatch kit. I guess this is due to the top strap pressing on the top spoiler. While I am not sure whether the Saris or Yakima is better, I do have a concern if they have to use the hatch kit, as they even reduce the capacity from 3 to 2 bikes. Anyone can comment on this? I am not sure if this will potentially do damage to the top spoiler....(I am not going to the hitch type as it is too expensive... I do have roof top rails, but I am carrying kids bikes and ideally I am trying to get a solution for 3 bikes)

Thanks in advance

I have the Saris Bones.
As I had it from an earlier Toyota, I didn't have the hatch kit. Never occurred to me that I might want it.
2 very heavy old fashioned bikes ride on the saris very well.
I do mount the rig as high as possible so that I can acess the tow hitch when connecting my caravan.

I am very pleased with the Saris Bones

The Saris Grand Fondo

Here is the solution we have been using this season. It is very simple to use and cool looking.

Cool rack! For some strange reason I keep looking at the last picture and waiting for the front end of the car to lift up.

Yes, I know. Looks like alot of hardware hanging back there! But the rack itself is less than 20lbs. 17 I believe Saris claims. the bikes are about 37lbs combined.

I just got my welcome package from BMW (pretty crappy but I digress) and notice BMW sells lots of bike accessories.

Below is one option from the accessory book.
