How can I tell which version of e-sys and PSdZData I need to get? I have a 2014 X3 35i with technology package, NBT. I just picked it up CPO from the dealer on Monday.

Use E-sys 3.27.1 and latest PSdZ and you should be fine.

Thanks! Now I just have to get to enough posts that I can get PMs!

I've read conflicting reports about being able to code the mirrors to fold in when the car is turned off, is that possible on the F25?

Fxx-/Ixx-/Gxx-series Coding: (No Request) Latest Software Links

Coding is tied to CA or keyFOB locking action, not vehicle off. But, yes it is possible on F25 & F26.

Thanks!! Got everything coded this evening. Having some trouble with the blinkers in the HUD, and the doors unlocking, but I'll try those again tomorrow, everything else worked great!

For HUD Blinkers, make sure you change three FDL's.

For unlocking, make sure car auto-locks.

Hi all,
I have just got an enet cable, installed esys 3.27.1, psdzdata and esys launcher premium on laptop running 32bit windows 10.
Im trying to generate a fsc code for map upgrade.
I can connect to the car, but i cant type anything in the parameter fields on esys...There is no room to type - see attached image. When i try to click identify nothing happens, nothing auto-populates. Have also tried doing this on an old winXP desktop but the same result. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thank you - tom.

Do you have high resolution screen? Did you try hi-res fix in launcher?

Hi, I've now managed to generate FSC codes for my 2014 x3, but none of them are correct. I have tried around 30.
I'm looking for 2017-australia/new Zealand Next maps.
According to the fsc generator help files it says the parameters should be 0xAA 0x07 (or above). I tried quite a few codes from 0x01 up to 0x12 and none worked.
Then I read on here I should read the info_map.imp file. I did that and found it should be 0xAA 0x2A. I have tried quite a few parameters around those numbers as well and no luck.
I'm just about to go back and re generate the FSC file perhaps I accidently deleted a character somewhere - but can anyone confirm what the parameters should be for me please?
Thanks - Tom.

Hi, I am trying to connect my F25 to E sys using a Enet cable but having difficulty.

When I click connect, CONNECTION VIA VIN is greyed out. It also says NO ZGW AVAILABLE.

I used this guide for the install - http://www.bmwesys.com/guides/Beginn...e%20Coding.pdf

Any ideas please? I am using E-sys 3.28.1

You will not be able to connect via VIN unless PSdZData is properly installed, and the Car and Laptop have a connection. For this:

1) The Target Connection Window should not be blank (It should show multiple target connections for different chassis')
2) ENET Cable must be good and making good contact in OBDII Port
3) Car must have proper voltage (Make sure motor is running if car is not on a Charger).
4) Laptop must not have Firewall or any Antivirus software running.
5) PC Lan Adapter should get a fallback IP address of 169.254.xxx.xxx (Make sure it is using DHCP and does not have a Static IP address assigned to it)

Thank you, very helpful reply.

Can i question point 5, how do i check my fallback IP address?

Also on point 1, even when I am not connected, should CONNECTION VIA VIN not be greyed out? For me, this is always greyed out which suggests my issue is software related?

Check IP Address of your LAN Adapter, and see if it is 169.254.xxx.xxx.

If you are not Connected, Connect VIA VIN will always be Grayed Out, but Connection targets shoudl be showing.

Thanks mate, appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve this.

I have managed to code several options which are all working inc digital speedo, sport displays, etc.

One thing I cant seem to find is the auto start stop memory. I want it to remember the last position when you switch engine on. Any idea on what it is?
