Google Send To Car

Anyone noticed the Car option on Google maps intermittently disappearing from Google Maps recently? It also hasn't worked for me for about a week when you do see it. Always says "Sorry, we were unable to send the message at this time". It used to work.

This may be connected as well: My BMW Remote app now won't send locations to the car any more either - error 500. So I'm back to keying in destinations on the iDrive

Well, it was a nice feature while it lasted..

Do you have to subscribe for these features. ? (monthly or yearly payment)

Yes but you get 3 years subscription included as part of the pro mm package. Not sure what happens after year 3 re. the costs of continuing. Someone else may know

Working fine for me as of yesterday.

Note: I changed the email I have on file with them, but for some reason "send to car" only works when I use my old email. I'll have to call Tech support and have them update this too.

Cheers for this. It might be just a problem with maps.google.co.uk site or it might be a problem with my setup because I changed my ConnectedDrive password. I changed my it from the password they created for me but you don't need a password to use send to car so it's strange if that is what has caused it.

Have any UK owners used maps.google.co.uk send to car successfully in the last few days?
