Connecting iPhone to car
Can I connect my iPhone to the car by using my snap-in adapter, or do I have to leave the bluetooth on (and connected)?
I can play music/ video without the bluetooth, but I would like to be able to use the phone without having to switch on the bluetooth (too many actions required on the iPhone by the way). Will the phone be connected to the ext. antenna via bluetooth? I have 6NK, 609, 614, 615, 6NF, 6UH, 6NR |

? Switch on Bluetooth? Leave it on and connecting is automatic. Then can snap in and use the hardwire and car doesn't drop when you un-snap it. If not snapped in, external antenna is not used.

So the answer is: Bluetooth has to be on in order to use the phone through the car. Also when it's in the snap-in. Hm..
Leaving bluetooth on? No, for several reasons. |

In older versions of the Iphone software, the BT caused significant battery drain. They fixed that a while ago. The only other reason that i could think of would be the potential for a security breach? |

Feels like the battery is draining faster with it on. I once had a guy hack into my phone and make calls on my bill (a few years ago so this could have been fixed by now)
The car: Unfortunately only a 2.0d I wanted the 3.0, but as you know 26k USD for 163-211 hp (yes, in Norway the 3.0d comes with 211) |
