Some funny thing happened with my iDrive LCD (turned orange)

Yesterday when I started the car, the iDrive LCD became all orange, no text, nothing else, all pixels were orange and then the LCD got turned off by itself. By playing with the control, I think the software was still running in the background and I could change things like radio station, etc but I couldn't see anything. I stopped for about two hours and the problem never appeared again

Honestly, I am not really worried about that but I thought it would be fun to share!

I had that happen once too. Held down the power (volume) button and it fixed itself. Haven't had it happen since though.

that is the only thing I haven't tried when it happened. Anyway, if it does it again, I'll bring it to the dealer, I don't want the GPS to fail while I will be on a trip in the USA
