Solution to... My BMW Assist. "It's dead Jim."
Well it looks like the COMBOX is bad. It's currently being replaced.
Meanwhile our hero is driving a 2015 528i loaner. Craig - "Argh! This thing is terrible! The 5er should be a joy to drive. I dislike it very much. IT'S NOT FUN!" My X3 28i is so much more fun to drive. Glad I get it back Tuesday.
